RCM THEORY LESSONS Our qualified theory instructors prepare music students (all ages) for RCM and other theory examinations continuously throughout the year. Because of their knowledge, refined teaching curriculum, and experience in working with students at all levels (elementary to adult) in our studio and at different private/public music-education institutions throughout the GTA, including York University, many of our students finish their RCM exam with grades in high eighties and nineties. We prepare students for the RCM theory examinations both privately (one on one) and in a group setting. Studying in a class:
A group consists of minimum 2 persons to 10 persons. Each course lasts for about three months prior to the RCM examination. Both group lessons and private lessons are held once a week. Every student is expected by the teacher to complete the weekly assignments on regular basis. The classes are conducted in a non-stress friendly atmosphere and a focused learning environment. Each student receives a lot of individual attention and the teachers often introduce an additional learning material.
Taking private lessons:
Most of the above mentioned points apply to private lessons as well. When a student studies privately there is more flexibility when it comes to the duration of each session, the time, and the location. The details can be discussed with a teacher and special arrangements can be made. The parents who are especially concerned about their youngsters may decide to stay in a close contact with the teacher throughout the entire week and share in the close monitoring of a student's progress. We offer reasonable rates for both options (class and private lessons) and at the same time maintain high teaching level and devotion to our students. Lessons may be conducted at our location or the location of your choice. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to speak to one of out teachers in person or you simply have more questions. |
